Daily Structure & Consistency
Consistency is Key! That’s how our dogs thrive at daycare. Some of our dogs have not had any training; for many of our clients they just cannot commit to it but know they need to do something to ensure their dog minds! Owners comment on how nicely daycare has helped their dogs become better behaved. We do not allow rude behaviors and since the dog’s have such structured days at Dogue Spot it transfers over to their behavior at home often times. Think of us as the Muttessori School!
Boredom Relief
Less bouncing off the walls when you return home from a long day at work! Time and time again our clients breathe a sigh of relief knowing that when they get home from a long day at work their dog will be mentally and physically balanced! Wouldn’t it be nice to get home and just LAY on the couch with your dog next you instead of them begging you to PLAY because they’ve been bored all day!
Exercise
Most dogs do not get enough exercise. We want dogs in our life but don’t take (or have) the time to exercise them. That’s where Dogue Spot comes in. The dogs are active most of the day burning off that pent up energy that can lead to naughtiness!
Less Behavioral Problems
Lack of exercise, structure and socialization are key contributors to dogs with issues. It’s less expensive than that behaviorist at the U of M will be in a few months or in a few years! And it’s so much more fun for both you and your dog to prevent issues than fix them!

Now’s your chance to relax. No more Hurry Hurry! That’s life today. Get home, make dinner, do laundry, walk the dog…do, do, DO! Now you have the dog part handled and can just enjoy hanging out with your friend on the couch! Weight Control
Just as the scales creep up on people, our dogs have weight control issues too. You’ll see more fluid movement and more of a waistline after playtime every week. And with less weight, that’s a healthier dog. It could also reduce your vet bills too!
Socialization
Dogs are pack animals and NEED social interaction to keep them balanced and happy. Social issues are creeping up more and more as dogs are isolated at home due to our busy schedules. Your life will be more pleasant knowing your dog knows how to act properly around other dogs.

Shyness
We’ve had lots of shy dogs come to daycare and transform into a social happy dog. We are always supervising to make sure the dog’s not overly stressed as they are sure to be stressed at first. But after a few weeks it’s amazing to see the change in the dog. They come in with their tail up and excited to see their friends!

Play Days
Dogs are social creatures. They want and need time with other four legged friends away from home. Even if you have multiple dogs in your home or your dog plays with the neighbor dog that is just not enough for some dogs. Bringing your dog to a play date with clients and seasoned staff is a great way to engage your dog in a safe environment.
Based off of client feedback there are multiple reasons to attend a supervised play date over attending a public dog park. The #1 reason is safety. Keep your dog safe! The #2 reason seems to be comfort. We are cool in the summer and warm in the winter!

Requirements: You must be social. Your dog must be dog/people social. There are kids at these events often times. We trust that your dog is up to date on vaccinations and is in good health when attending play dates. You are responsible for supervising your dog at these events.
