Level 2 - Canine Good Citizen/3D
Is your dog Canine Good Citizen ready?
Here are just some of the things you’ll learn in our Canine Good Citizen class:
- Sit politely while a stranger approaches and has a conversation with you.
- Passes by another dog and owner and stays will you on a loose leash.
- Walk through a crowd of people and dogs and stays with you on a loose leash.
- Stays with a stranger for a few minutes while you leave the room and waits patiently for you to return.
- Accepts a stranger handling their feet, looking in their ears, brushing them and petting them.
This 8 session class takes you and your dog to the next level. What you’ve learning Good Dog Manners is now refined through additional exercises, adding distractions and switching from luring to rewarding with treats. Every dog can be a Canine Good Citizen with a little SPOT training and leadership from their owner! Once you pass the Canine Good Citizen training you and your dog receive a certification from the AKC and it’s open to ALL BREEDS; mixed or purebred.
