Level 1 - Private Training Consultations
Is your dog aggressive to other dogs or people? Are you unable to confidently walk your dog? Do you have a sporadic work schedule and cannot commit to weekly training but are committed to your dog? Have you tried it all and still have a problem with your dog? Do group classes seem a little overwhelming for you and your dog?
Private training may be the ticket if you answered yes to one or more of these questions. Dogue Spot has clients from all over come to them for private training. Many are driving well over 2 hours to seek our help because we have proven success with some of the most difficult or hard to handle dogs.
Private training is most often done on-site at Dogue Spot outside of group class time. There are some situations that require a home visit. Your first private training session will last approximately 2 hours. At least 50% of this session is discussion and the remaining time will be hands on learning with your dog. We’ll often use a demo dog to show you what a well mannered dog should act like. Over the years we’ve found that lecture combined with visual learning and hands on learning are most impressionable and long lasting.
Prior to your private you will be asked to complete a questionnaire that will really help us understand your current training challenges with your dogs and how to best prepare. However, once meeting you and your dog in person our plan may change entirely. We truly customize our private training to each dog and handler that comes to us for help.

Once we review your form we’ll contact you to set up an appointment. At the time of the appointment setting you will be required to pay the consult fee which is non-refundable. In the event you cancel with less than a 48 hour notice or do not show your appointment will not be re-booked or moved to another time. Once a Dogue Spot trainer holds time for you and your dog that time is not available to any other dog or client on that day and time.
