Level 1/2 - Speciality Classes
Our specialty classes are the perfect supplement to those in our classes. We have put together the top four categories based on client suggestions. If you have ideas let us know. We are always open to new classes!
Come/Stay
So many of our clients continue to have trouble with come. That is the majority of this class. How do you get your dog to COME when called all of the time?! Practice, practice and incorporating the FUNdamentals every day. Learn the mistakes so many owners make and vow never to do them again. Come is a life saving command. Your dog’s life depends on it!
Stay is commonly trained wrong and therefore dog’s do not understand what stay means and often break the command. Learn the #1 thing we do wrong to confuse our dogs.
Pinch Collar aka Cookie Collar Class
Unlike ANY other training. For anyone that uses a pinch collar this class is #1 priority.
Pinch Collar = Cookies!
Pinch Collar = Fun!
Pinch Collar = Attention and Focus on YOU!
Your dog should love their pinchy…period. They should NOT pull on it.
Pretty Please Practice Positive Pinchy Procedures!!!
After a few weeks if you HAVE to use a pinch to walk your dog and they start to pull without it then you are NOT using it right. Let us help!
Go To Your Bed
Dream of the day you let guests in, sign for a package or carry in groceries while your dog doesn’t jump up, rush the door or dash outside for a game of Catch Me When You Can? We can help! Teach your dog to go to their bed (aka mat, kennel, place, rug) while you open the door, let guests in and cook dinner or clean!
You’ll need lots of treats, a bed/mat and energy to participate in this fun filled class!
Speak/Play
This class is loaded with cookies and fun. Wear layers because you might get hot! Dog owners MUST be prepared to have fun, be silly and be the best game in town during class. And these classes are packed so you have LOTS of competition. Speak and Play are huge stress relievers, pick me ups and confidence builders. If your dog would rather play with another dog are bark at strangers than YOU then we need to help realign that relationship. Toy drive and vocalization are something all dogs are capable of and need in life! We’ll SPEAK to you at class!
