What is our idea of an ideal dog? A TRAINED DOG!
Imagine a dog that:

• Walks with you on a loose leash all of the time. In fact you don’t need a leash because you know your dog will stay with you!
• Sees a running rabbit in the back yard and takes off after it. You call your dog to come and they happily come back to you.
• Guests are coming over and ring  the doorbell. You tell your dog to go to their place and they wait there politely while YOU greet the guests.
• Doesn’t potty in the house and you aren’t constantly shampooing carpets or stepping in wet spots.
• Sleeps quietly on their bed or in a kennel. You don’t have to wake up in the middle of the night and are a much happier person for it in the morning.
• Is confident and happy.

Our Methods

Dogue Spot believes in balanced training. We base all training and methods off of leadership. This means YOU are the leader, not the dog.
Leaders are fun, fair, provide direction and with that direction comes reinforcement and correction. Bad behaviors are corrected and good behaviors are rewarded. Just like we have rules, dogs must have rules too. The saying goes “if you treat your dog like a person they’ll treat you like a dog”. We want dogs to be dogs! Dogue Spot will teach you to think more like a dog and your dog will love you for it.
